Several dermatology units were affiliated to As'ad
Al-Hamad Dermatology Center. Until recently, these were located in 2 main health areas in Kuwait;
Farwania Health Area, and Jahra Health Area.
Since June 2002, Farwania Unit was converted to a new Department of Dermatology in Farwania Health Area that included (1) Farwania Hospital and (2) Farwania Health Center. The second unit which is still affiliated at present time to As'ad Al-Hamad Dermatology Center is Jahra Health Area which includes: Al-Oyoun Clinic and Sulaibeya Clinic. Each unit offers dermatology services to the served health area and cases that need second opinion or further diagnostic procedures or management are referred to As'ad Al-Hamad Dermatology Center. All doctors in the Jahra affiliated dermatology unit attend and contribute to the weekly clinical meeting held at As'ad Al-Hamad Dermatology Center, and also to the Grand Clinical Meetings.
